Cognac is not far away, swimming lakes and beaches just a 10 minute drive. There's plenty to do and see (see our Tourist Information section) plus also lots to do at the gite itself. If you are keen on Golf or Fishing please go to our Golf or Fishing pages. Being only 3 miles from Ruffec town you will not have far to go for restaurants and shopping. Having children of our own, we are also child-friendly. We have found when travelling that Saturday change-overs mean expensive and hard to book flights and ferries, especially when travelling with children.
